This house display was our award winning exhibit at The Melbourne Home Show 2019.
This design is a stylish self-contained studio apartment.
The Port would make a great little holiday home, it sacrifices a little bit of space for a more luxurious finish. It would also be suitable for detached accommodation for the elderly living with relatives, or a teenage retreat to get the kids out of home.
THE NAUTIC
This house design is perfect for a young couple’s first home, an older couple looking to downsize, or self-contained accommodation.
We have specially designed this home to make the most effective use of every square metre; there is no space wasted.
This design is a great example of showing you don’t need a large home to feel comfortable. This little house packs a lot of punch in a small space!
KIALLA CUSTOM HOME
This is the first shipping container modular home we designed and built. We were inspired by the structural integrity of the containers and challenged to push them to their structural limits using cantilevers and angles, creating architectural appeal.
The brief was a modern look that would challenge people’s concept of a ‘house’, using cantilevers to their limit and new light-weight cladding.
The interior design brief was to use a combination of raw materials throughout the house ̶ think concrete, timber and steel ̶ to give a rustic, industrial feel. The homeowners, a young family, wanted a home they could grow into with a number of functional living spaces. The result is a truly unique family home which is extremely liveable.
This home was recognised at the 2019 Australian Construction Awards shortlisted for ‘Architectural Design’ and runner up for ‘Offsite Construction’.
