JMB Constructions, has operated for more than 15 years as a registered building practitioner, working on numerous commercial and domestic projects throughout regional Victoria.

In an increasingly competitive market we created a new division of our business JMB Modular Buildings, founded with foresight that the modular sector within the construction industry (commercial and residential) is growing rapidly.
Upon completion of our first modular project JMB Modular Buildings was recognised at the Australian Construction Awards for ‘Off Site Project of the Year' (runner up) and ‘Architectural Design of the Year' (shortlisted), which is a credit to our talented team.

Our in-house team comprises construction professionals, contract administrators, architects, and trades, all with deep experience in government-funded infrastructure. This ensures a seamless end-to-end delivery process, from early engagement through to handover and post-construction support.

JAMES BRIGGS
Founder/Managing Director/Registered Builder
James is one of Australia’s leading modular construction innovators. Registered as a commercial and domestic builder in four states, he brings over a decade of research and development in DfMA, volumetric modular systems, and international best practice. His experience spans complex commercial projects, high-pressure delivery environments, and engineering-driven building solutions. A licensed helicopter pilot, James applies precision, discipline and systems thinking to design and manufacturing innovation. He has led the technical development of AMC1 and holds unique IP in multi-level modular building systems, precast integration and advanced lifting methodologies.
He has been actively involved in the Master Builders Association Victoria and contributes to the PrefabAus Association, helping to enhance standards in the modular building sector.

RACHEL BRIGGS
Director/Financial Management
With a strong background in commerce and accounting, Rachel has been instrumental in the strategic pivoting and branding of JMB Modular Buildings. Her expertise in financial management and business operations has been crucial in scaling the company’s capabilities and establishing its position as a leader in modular construction.
TOBI KENNEDY
Operations/Project Manager (Commercial)
Tobi brings multi-million-dollar project management experience across commercial, residential and modular sectors. With deep expertise in manufacturing optimisation, moving production lines, process digitisation, and business systems engineering, Tobi is responsible for aligning production, systems, compliance and project delivery.
MICHAEL SULLIVAN
Architectural Designer
Michael has over 20 years experience in the field of building design and architecture, his roles include Project Management, Consultant Coordination, Construction Documentation and Project Group Coordination.
A registered building designer known for his sharp architectural mind, he leads JMB’s design innovation, multi-level modular engineering, BIM modelling and digital integration. His design systems underpin the structural, spatial and constructability excellence of JMB’s volumetric solutions.
DAVE VAN MAANENBERG
Project Manager (Volume Housing)
David is an accomplished project manager with a proven record delivering more than 300 modular homes during his decade with Todd Devine Homes. His strengths include volume scheduling, logistics coordination, QA, and consistent on-time delivery across large-scale residential and modular projects.
JASON MYRTLE
Station Manager
Jason has almost 10 years experience in the building industry. He loves the satisfaction of seeing the teams hard work come together to create a high quality build.
Outside of work he enjoys footy, long distance running and spending time with his wife and young daughter.
GREG BRASSIL
Station Manager
Greg is is an experienced project manager with a strong track record of delivering complex projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
With expertise across planning, budgeting, contractor coordination, site management, and stakeholder communication, Greg oversees all phases of construction to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
