JMB Constructions, has operated for more than 15 years as a registered building practitioner, working on numerous commercial and domestic projects throughout regional Victoria.

In an increasingly competitive market we created a new division of our business JMB Modular Buildings, founded with foresight that the modular sector within the construction industry (commercial and residential) is growing rapidly.
Upon completion of our first modular project JMB Modular Buildings was recognised at the Australian Construction Awards for ‘Off Site Project of the Year' (runner up) and ‘Architectural Design of the Year' (shortlisted), which is a credit to our talented team.

Our in-house team comprises construction professionals, contract administrators, architects, and trades, all with deep experience in government-funded infrastructure. This ensures a seamless end-to-end delivery process, from early engagement through to handover and post-construction support.

JAMES BRIGGS
Managing Director/Master Builder
James is a pioneer in the building industry with over 20 years of experience.
He began his career as an entrepreneurial teenager and quickly established his own business after completing his carpentry apprenticeship. As a registered commercial and domestic builder, James is known for his innovative construction ideas, exceptional building design skills, and uncompromising commitment to quality. He has been actively involved in the Master Builders Association Victoria and contributes to the PrefabAus Association, helping to enhance standards in the modular building sector.
Outside of building, he has a passion for being in the sky, having recently obtained his helicopter pilot licence.
BEN MADGWICK
Director/Procurement Specialist
Ben brings over 20 years of expertise in project management, compliance, and strategic growth across various sectors, including modular construction. With a Master's in Strategic Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Ben plays a
critical role in shaping JMB’s approach to market opportunities and large-scale projects. His focus on compliance, risk mitigation, and innovation ensures JMB remains a trusted and reliable partner for high-profile clients and government entities.
RACHEL BRIGGS
Director/Financial Management
With a strong background in commerce and accounting, Rachel has been instrumental in the strategic pivoting and branding of JMB Modular Buildings. Her expertise in financial management and business operations has been crucial in scaling the company’s capabilities and establishing its position as a leader in modular construction.
MICHAEL SULLIVAN
Architectural Designer
Michael has over 20 years experience in the field of building design and architecture, his roles include Project Management, Consultant Coordination, Construction Documentation and Project Group Coordination.
Michael is pivotal in producing detailed drawings and architectural designs essential for precision manufacturing of our modular units. Working from our new production facility, Michael is integral in translating conceptual designs into workable construction plans.
JAKE MACKENNA
Station Manager
Jake has over 15 years experience in the building industry, with a strong passion for high performance energy efficient homes.
Outside of work he enjoys fishing, camping and spending time with his family.
JASON MYRTLE
Station Manager
Jason has almost 10 years experience in the building industry. He loves the satisfaction of seeing the teams hard work come together to create a high quality build.
Outside of work he enjoys footy, long distance running and spending time with his wife and young daughter.
TOM BRIGGS
Station Manager
Tom has been with JMB for over 15 years, when he started his carpentry apprenticeship. He is loyal and hardworking, and particularly loves the finishing touches of our builds, making sure everything look spot on.
Outside of work he enjoys fishing, church and spending time with his family.
