MOVING PRODUCTION LINE
Key to lean manufacturing is the moving production line consisting of 8 workstations.
This allows us to manufacture our modules from beginning to end (to at least 95% complete) within 8 weeks.

OUR FACILITY
Advanced Manufacturing Capability
JMB's purpose-built Advanced Manufacturing Centre #1 (AMC1) facility represents the next generation of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), combining advanced manufacturing principles, digital technology, and construction expertise to deliver high-quality buildings with unprecedented efficiency and precision.
Designed specifically for manufacturing-led construction, AMC1 operates using an integrated eight-station production line where modules progress through structured phases of assembly, services installation, internal linings, fit-off, and finishing. This industrialised approach delivers predictable production cycles, consistent quality outcomes, and greater certainty for our clients.
At the core of AMC1 is a fully integrated digital design ecosystem. Every project is developed using advanced 3D modelling and Building Information Modelling (BIM), with designs optimised through Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) principles from the earliest stages of project development.
Unlike traditional construction, where design information is often interpreted multiple times throughout delivery, JMB's digital models flow directly from the design environment to the factory floor. Production teams access live project information through interactive digital workstations positioned throughout the facility, allowing them to visualise, interrogate, and construct directly from detailed three-dimensional models.
Augmented reality and advanced visualisation technologies further enhance this process, enabling factory teams to view and interact with digital building information in real time. By bridging the gap between design and manufacturing, these technologies improve accuracy, streamline workflows, and ensure every component is constructed precisely as intended.
To support manufacturing precision, AMC1 utilises calibrated laser projection systems that transfer design information directly onto the production floor. Framing layouts, services pathways, fixing locations, and critical building elements are projected with millimetre-level accuracy, eliminating the need for manual setting out, reducing waste, and significantly minimising rework.
Overhead gantry crane systems facilitate the safe and efficient movement of modules and heavy components throughout the production process, supporting a highly controlled manufacturing environment that maximises productivity while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
This seamless integration of digital engineering, advanced manufacturing, and construction expertise allows JMB to produce buildings that are up to 95% complete before leaving the factory. The result is faster project delivery, superior quality control, reduced on-site activity, improved safety outcomes, and greater certainty for clients seeking to deliver projects at scale.
AMC1 is more than a manufacturing facility. It is a platform for innovation that enables JMB to challenge conventional construction methods, overcome traditional modular constraints, and deliver the next generation of high-performance buildings.
AMC1: Where Digital Design Becomes Reality
From immersive 3D modelling and augmented reality visualisation to laser-guided manufacturing and industrialised production, AMC1 integrates design, engineering, and construction into a single seamless workflow. The result is faster delivery, greater precision, enhanced quality, and the ability to deliver complex projects at scale with certainty.
