A SMARTER PATHWAY
OUR PROCESS
From concept to completion. Our process brings design, manufacturing and construction together to create a coordinated pathway from the first conversation through to final delivery.

01 — DISCOVER + ASSESS
Understanding the project.
We start by understanding what you're trying to achieve.
Our team considers your project brief, site, proposed use, scale, budget, programme and key constraints to establish the initial project requirements and determine how modular construction may fit.
Where required, this stage can extend into feasibility investigations and Early Contractor Involvement.

02 — DEVELOP + OPTIMISE
Creating the right modular solution.
Once the project direction is established, our design team works collaboratively with the client, consultants and project stakeholders to develop the concept.
DfMA principles are introduced early so the design can be optimised for manufacturing, transportation, installation and construction.
This is where module configuration, structural considerations, layouts, finishes and key project interfaces begin coming together.

03 — COORDINATE + DOCUMENT
Resolving the detail before production.
The project progresses through detailed design, engineering and digital coordination.
Architecture, structure, services and manufacturing requirements are reviewed and coordinated to create a clear pathway to approvals and production.
Resolving these elements before manufacturing begins helps reduce downstream changes, minimise rework and improve certainty.

04 — MANUFACTURE + PREPARE SITE
Two workstreams. One programme.
Construction of the modules takes place within JMB's controlled manufacturing facility while site preparation and associated works can progress concurrently.
Within the factory, modules move through the structured stages of our production line, progressing from steel fabrication and framing through services, linings, finishes and fit-out.
This parallel approach is one of the key advantages of volumetric modular construction and can significantly reduce overall project timeframes.

05 — TRANSPORT + INSTALL
Bringing the project together.
Once ready, modules are prepared for transportation to site and carefully installed.
Because transportation, lifting and module connections have been considered throughout design and manufacturing, installation can occur within a highly coordinated programme.
Final connections and site-specific construction works are then completed.

06 — COMPLETE + HANDOVER
Ready for what's next.
Final works, commissioning and quality assurance are completed before project handover.
From the earliest project discussion through to completion, the objective remains the same:
to provide a clear, coordinated and more certain pathway to delivery.
